Balemaster Baler – Product Innovations

Balemaster's Additional Unique Baler Products

If you know Balemaster, then you know of the many exceptionally performing automated waste-management balers that they have to offer.  However, what you may not know is that Balemaster also offers a number of unique baling products to further enhance the shredding and baler function of your baler.

Well known for their quality performance, reliability and service, Balemaster has been an industry pioneer in using leading-edge technology to develop innovative design in baler structure, control systems, power packages and automatic wire tiers, to meet the demands of the market place.  So, it’s no wonder that they are also instrumental in providing innovative ways to make automated waste handling even more profitable for you.  Let’s take a look:

Balemaster’s Dust Briquetter

The Balemaster Dust Briquetter creates a rock hard 60 to 70 pound per cubic foot puck using high compression forces. The streamline design, 16-inch long feed hopper, and low profile feed chute height, allow for a good fit under standard bag-house filter systems.  The energy efficient hydraulic power packs – from 7.5 to 10 horsepower – meet varying capacity requirements.

Fluffers

Mounted on top of the baler's feed chute, the fluffer helps prepare paper waste for baling by "fluffing" and distributing it evenly in the charging chamber.

Metering Conveyors

Balemaster’s patented "Metering" conveyor eliminates time-consuming hand loading.  Waste is fed at a uniform rate to either the baler or shredder.  It’s designed for many "Dump and Run" applications and is available in 36, 42, and 60-inch widths.

Automatic Bottle Perforators (PET/HDPE)

This unique product line perforates plastic bottles, allowing air to escape. As a result, the output capacity of the baler is increased by up to 50%.  It’s ideal for high volume bottle handling requirements.

Can Compactors

Balemaster’s Can Compactors offer a simple way to crush and compact steel and aluminum cans.  They reject ‘filled with fluid’ cans and produce a circular 17" diameter bale for easy handling.

Transfer & Storage Systems

Balemaster can design and build a system used to accumulate and store finished bales.  It is used in conjunction with your scheduled forklift operations.  These can be a huge asset in facilitating "unmanned" operations.

Balemaster has always responded to changing industries by offering the deepest product line, 100-plus models, capable of cost effectively meeting any automatic waste handling challenge in a variety of ways.  It all adds up.   Balemaster Makes Your Baling Process More Profitable.

Balemaster’s constant emphasis on engineering excellence, quality manufacturing and product innovation assures that their customers are receiving the very best balers and other automated waste handling equipment in the industry for baling items such as corrugated cardboard boxes, paper, folding cartons, chipboard, OCC, ONP, PET, HDPE, films, foils, aluminum cans, non-wovens and other material for recycling.

Balemaster Baler – A Cost Efficient Solution

Is It Time To Switch To A Balemaster Baler?
Whether you’re in charge of running a paper mill, distribution center, warehouse, or any other business that has to deal with loads of empty corrugated boxes and loose paper, one of your daily concerns is cost-effective waste management. Nothing can slow your day down more than watching your outdated baler unable to keep up with the steady stream of what needs to go into it.

For many mid-sized to large printers and distribution centers, a baler needs to bale the waste both time-efficiently and cost-effectively. Balemaster, the industry’s leader in waste handling automation located in Crown Point Indiana, specializes in exactly what your business needs. And, they even take it a step further by turning your waste into another profit center for your business.

The Balemaster Difference

Unlike other compacting and waste management companies, Balemaster prefers to live by their bold statement “We make your baling process more profitable.”  It’s how they’ve engineered their balers to work and designed their balers for businesses like yours that makes it possible. Larger and denser bales are the key to reducing, among other things, employee time, shipping costs, and energy usage.  An Auto-Tie system and easy-to-use Touch Screen Interface saves you in both maintenance repair costs and man hours operating the baler. Additionally, Balemaster’s hydraulics provides maximum efficiencies, using regenerative circuits and dual power packs to minimize horsepower usage saving your firm energy.

Okay, perhaps you’re now speculating that Balemaster’s balers are pretty intricate for your employees to learn to operate. Balemaster’s commitment to training is unique in the industry. Their three day intensive training sessions teach your operators everything they need to know about your equipment.  Their classes comprehensively cover preventative maintenance issues and electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques – all aimed at making your personnel truly effective in daily equipment operations.

So, instead of watching your outdated baler, compactor, or other waste disposer slow down your day, take a look at what Balemaster has to offer.

Balemaster balers put more green in your pocket

Balers that help reduce your operating costs.

Some say that half the battle of running an efficient business is consistently increasing sales. And the other half?  Reducing expenses. And that’s where Balemaster’s balers come in. If you’ve never really thought about a cost-effective baler to help keep down expenses, then you’re willing to spend a lot of time handling empty cardboard boxes yourself

Sending money to your bottom line.

Automation is the key and Balemaster’s wide-mouth auto-tie balers send money to your bottom line in multiple ways:
  • If you’re manually baling your waste, then you’ll need to know that conventional hand tying takes 7 to 10 minutes per bale.  Balemaster’s auto-ty balers process cardboard waste into a dense bale that is automatically and securely tied in less than 30-seconds.
  • Balemaster’s Heavy-Duty automatic wire tying means there’s no need for a baler operator.
  • Balemaster’s balers produce bales with the highest density per cubic foot.  That means there’s more material per volume than any other baler.  Why is this important?  It reduces your annual wire costs; maximizes recycling revenue per load; and you’ll use fewer truck loads.
  • A powerful and user friendly Touch Screen Interface means that there are no more ambiguous messages, no more accidental and erroneous settings, and less costly down time.
  • Balemaster’s engineers have designed and installed high efficiency hydraulics for maximizing baler capacity and conserving energy costs.

This list of cost benefits can go on and on, but you get the idea.  Additionally it’s worth noting that Balemaster’s automated, heavy duty, continuous-feed, horizontal, Auto-Ty balers such as the 5200 Series, are able to bale upright cartons and boxes (flattened or not), paper products, wax/poly coated materials, and shredded cartons and boxes. Therefore, there’s no need to bale some of the waste while tossing the rest into the compactor. There’s also no employee downtime to flatten boxes to produce a high-density bale.

Do the math.

Every business’s cost-cutting methods are different.  Only you will know what the best avenues are to take for your company’s expense reductions.  Hopefully by reading this blog and investigating further into the time and cost efficiencies that Balemaster affords businesses worldwide, you will discover how much Balemaster can save your company.
